Frequency

As the newest addition to the Riverside Family, Frequency is bringing together the young people at Riverside who are either studying at university or just starting out in the big wide world. Frequency’s foundations are based on building strong friendships between guys & gals in Riverside Church and within the local community, with a strong emphasis placed on socialising, chilling out and sharing each other’s experiences. Of course, as part of Riverside, Jesus is at the heart of all that we do, however you don’t need to go to church or be a Christian to come along.

Who is it aimed at?

Frequency is a group aimed at 18 to 30 year olds, but as we know some people are young at heart, we welcome all ages.

When do we meet?

Over the past 12 months our focus has been to meet on a monthly basis, and get to know each other better. As Riverside has grown, getting to know each other can be tough, and meeting on a regular basis as a group has helped develop strong relationships. Our social gatherings have included BBQ’s, Bowling, Cinema, Meals Out etc.

Our meetings

Evening service

As we move into a new chapter Frequency will be holding an evening service once a month. These will take place in Southwell on a Sunday night, starting in September, and will include both fantastic worship, a short sermon and other regular features aimed at this age group. The evening service will give young people an opportunity to experience the Love of God, in a comfortable environment, surrounded by people their own age. The service will be ideal for Christian, and non Christians wanting to know. So if you know someone who would be interested, be sure to get them, along.
